Suspected racist attack in Belfast

A number of migrant workers in Belfast were today taken to hospital after their house was set alight in a suspected racist attack by arsonists.

A total of six Polish people were in the building on Castlereagh Road at about 2.30am this morning when the fire started.

Several people were treated for smoke inhalation and a 24-year-old man was arrested and is helping police with their inquiries.

Detectives have asked anybody with information to contact them.
