    (ANI)

Washington, May 9 : The Bee Gees are set to be honoured for their contribution to the music industry with a plaque.

The veteran band will be awarded with a plaque in London on May 10.

The plaque, being given to the singing trio of brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb by the U.K.'s Heritage Foundation and the City of Westminster, will be officially unveiled at the former headquarters of the band's former manager Robert Stigwood in London's Mayfair.

"I'm very pleased with this location as it has real significance to our career," Contactmusic quoted Robin, as saying.

"We composed several Bee Gees hits in that building's basement, so it most definitely has a special connection to our work," he added.
