After a month-long investigation, Louisville Metro police have made a major drug bust, reported WLKY NewsChannel 32.

Detectives caught-up with two men carrying between 60 and 80 pounds of marijuana in the parking lot of a hotel at Zorn Avenue and River Road.

Detectives said the marijuana came straight from the Mexican border and was en route to Indianapolis.

Officials said those arrested are from Mississippi and Texas and that the drugs have a street value of about $80,000.
