Comedian Fiona O'Loughlin says Bindi Irwin is 'creepy'
Australian Herald Friday 19th March, 2010 (ANI)
Comedian Fiona O'Loughlin has called Bindi Irwin a creep who needs a slap in the face.
The recovering alcoholic was branded spiteful and hateful after her performance on Wednesday's episode of ABC music quiz Spicks and Specks.
O'Loughlin described 11-year-old Bindi as a "bit creepy" before doing an over-the-top impersonation of the child star's voice.
Then, she made a gesture indicating Bindi was crazy, and went on to mime a slap across the child star's face.
The bitter outburst stunned fellow panellists, particularly Chris Durling, a former member of Bindi's Crocmen.
Durling said working with Bindi was a great experience, describing her as "gorgeous" and down-to-earth.
Viewers said O'Loughlin was "tasteless", "un-Australian" and a bully.
In an interview with the Herald Sun, Durling said that he was upset by the attack on Bindi.
"I wasn't going to get into a Bindi debate on the show. She's like my little sister but I have gotten used to people having strong opinions about her," News.com.au quoted him as saying. (ANI)

Comedian Fiona O'Loughlin says Bindi Irwin is 'creepy'What a disgraceful, disgusting display by an adult. No taste, scraping the bottom of the barrel there. Children are off limits. Criticise your peers and see what you cop back.
Talking of creeps and a smack in the face does not even come close to Bindi who is a talented, genuine aussie. I`m disgusted. You should have been told off good and proper on-air. Is the show |
