Bush to Deliver Four College Graduation Addresses

Thursday, April 13, 2006

WASHINGTON —  President Bush will deliver commencement addresses at four colleges this year, including a community college hit by Hurricane Katrina.

The White House announced Thursday that Bush will speak May 6 at Oklahoma State University, May 11 at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, May 27 at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., and June 19 at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, which was attended by Bush's outgoing White House chief of staff, Andrew Card.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College suffered tens of millions of dollars in damage and lost a quarter of its student enrollment after Katrina.
